Grand Hyatt Dubai

Met up with friends (and ex-colleagues) Diane and Dalice for lunch today. Dalice is passing through Dubai on her way back to Prague from Australia.

We chose to revisit an old favourite coffee shop - Panini at the Grand Hyatt. Apart from the amazing choice of desserts and produce, Panini is located in what is a tropical forest that covers quite a large area of the lower ground floor. Its quite spectacular really - I've never seen palm leaves as large as what they have!

Unfortunately, this is a bit of a quick blip as friends were not very patient about me having to get a photo for my journal! What I'd really like to have taken a picture of is their deli. Another time perhaps.
