A productive weekend
This weekend has been really productive - fixing things.
It's not that I can't do this its just that firstly I don't like doing anything which means I might brake my nails and secondly I have a really good engineer hubby who fixes stuff with his eyes shut so I notmally don't need to.
It started with the connectors arriving on Friday meaning I had a lot of work to do for the booked Saturday morning MOT. The bike passed.
Also on Saturday we took one of our usual cycle rides but after about a mile I realised I had a puncture and must have picked up the 3mm thorn that did the damage the night before when I popped out to the chinese. The green gloop tyre got me home.
And on Saturday afternoon whilst we were out we also had a powercut which screwed up the contrller for the central heating and hot water system. I realised this when I had no hot water on today. So I fixed this. I then went on and fixed the punctured tyre on my bicycle.
I also pulled about another 100 weeds from the lawn with my fiskars weed puller thingy (all the neighbours have one now - I can't begin to describe how satifying it is to see the weed pulled from the lawn with so little effort).
And now that the hosepipe ban is off - I was decadent and washed my car.
So - summary...
Hot water
Motorbike MOT'd
Bicycle fixed
Washed car
Less weeds
