Fountain of Hope!

A difficult blip today, I’m attending a conference in the city and today’s venue is the Art Gallery, a subject in itself! 
 
But on the way, I passed homeless souls feeding birds, opulent jewellery stores, a variety of birds…. (many scavengers), spectacular trees, school children's antics.....but I really enjoyed the juxtapositions of the old and new buildings.
 
This image was taken on my walk back to the railway station, (a shortcut through Sydney Hospital).    Evidently this Colebrookdale fountain was installed around 1907 and somewhat hidden behind the hospital walls!  Another Sydney treasure.
