Botanicals

Another lovely sunny day in Edinburgh. I'm blipping early, half-way through horticultural Tuesday.

This morning we visited the Secret Herb Garden and it proved true to its name as it wasn't signposted! Gustavo seemed to know where he was going, though, and we ended up in the right place.

It's a lovely herbarium and there are lots of gorgeous places to sit and have coffee or one of the home-grown herbal teas.

These pears seemed lost in the greenery and showed up better in mono - a day late for mono Monday, I'm afraid! We're off to the Royal Botanical Gardens this afternoon, but not before the Gussies do a wee bit of sorting out and packing. They are off to Liverpool next week to do some 'larnin' at the School of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
I'll be in good hands if I come down with the dreaded lurgy!
