Chores

The trouble with visiting son #2 in London is the chore of eating out! No - honestly! The novelty soon wears off!!

Tonight we tried the little Italian next to the hotel. It was run by genuine Italian people and the food was lovely.

Three young Japanese chaps ( presumably staying in same hotel) also had their meal there. I was feeling quite sorry for them as they were obviously short of money. They ordered tap water and shared a pizza between the three of them. The way they were tucking in showed how hungry they were.
Our theory was they obviously found being tourists in London more expensive than planned.... Or were at the end of their trip and had run out of money …

I was about to offer them my crusts when their main courses arrived! Seafood linguine for each of them. Whilst we were still chewing on our crusts they had ordered desserts and coffee ...

So much for my theory of them being poor travelling students .... ;-)
