Pinecone....

....for TinyTuesday---this one's just a tad bigger than a bumble bee--& I took this using the macro lens. 
Yesterday, instead of tasting the maple seed myself I had Tom eat it, & he didn't get sick, but he DID say that it didn't taste like much of anything. So I guess they ARE safe to eat, and maybe in an emergency I might eat a few, but if it doesn't taste like anything what's the point, right?  :))
