Tuscany Diary #5

i spent the afternoon on a guided tour of Florence's Uffizi Gallery which included the Vasari Corridor - a 1km corridor that goes from the Palazo Vecchio, through the Uffizi Gallery, across the Ponte Vecchio and over to the Pitti Palace. An amazing experience to have an art history lesson by studying the actual paintings by Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Carravaggio!! This picture was the exit point of the corridor.
