Cracked pot cottage

Spent most of the day travelling down from the north to spend a few days in Dorset.
Although the fun was shining as I left there was some heavy rain for a lot of the way and the roads were challenging due to speeds of traffic and the spray.
Unfortunately came across an accident in dual carriageway where it looked as those a car had aquaplaned and was upside down at the side of the road. I could see there were plenty of people helping him and he was out of the car. Hope he is okay though. Made me more cautious with my driving for the rest of the journey
Rain continued until almost dark so after my tea made very well by best friends son who is presently still living in family's home I thought I ought to make myself a little scarce and escaped for a walk towards the common.
Really was getting quite dark but noted the nameplate and couldn't resist taking photo as seems quite apt taking into account how I feel at the moment
So cracked pot cottage it is!
