House for an Art Lover

House for an Art Lover, in the Bellahouston Park on the southern outskirts of Glasgow, not far from Ibrox. This building was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, though not built until quite recently. The interiors are also based on his designs for the building.

In view of the poor weather this morning this seemed like a good place to go on a wet and cool morning. The weather deteriorated further during the day. The rain held off long enough for this exterior shot of the building.

Returned to Aberdeen later in the day to torrential rain, though it rained more or less all the way back. The vista to the art gallery naturally included a stop for a cake and a coffee.
