Cactus Patterns

After almost two weeks of doing what I want to do (watching volleyball, playing volleyball, photographing volleyball), I treated my wife to a trip to the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes. An amazing variety of plant life was displayed throughout the 87 acres, but as usual I was drawn to the cactus garden and the myriad of patterns that were available for photographic recording. Because I was focusing on the patterns it seemed appropriate I turn this all green cactus into a high contrast black and white. Off to Seattle tomorrow for a week long visit.
