The Powder House

The Powder House is at the end of Samson's Bay near my caravan.
It get's the name from many years ago when hundreds of ships visited Porthmadog harbour to load up with slates for export around the world. The ships were not allowed into the harbour with gunpowder, so it had to be offloaded and kept here, before being collected on the way back out.
It is now a one bedroom holiday home, currently up for sale for offers over £390,000.
