Last Light on the Lomonds

After passing this way on the bike yesterday I decided that I'd have to get back up the hill with the camera to try and capture a scene or two with the heather in full bloom. I drove to Craigmead car park and walked up the first part of the track that leads to East Lomond/Falkland Hill, fully intending to stop there and take a couple of shots. In the event, and as the views changed as the minutes passed, I ended up walking just a bit further along the path, again and again, until I reached the top of Falkland Hill. This photograph was taken just before the top was reached and as the sun broke through  the cloud cover.
