Vallouise

The rain didn't stop all night and we found out that our faithful tent of nearly 10 years now needs replacing!
We thought we might escape the rain by driving down the valley to Briançon for a wander but we made it as far as the supermarket before heading back through flooding roads and torrential showers.
As if by magic the rain stopped as we approached Vallouise so we stopped for a crepe, coffee and a very pleasant wander in the sun (extra photo)
