Our day off

Wednesday is traditionally a day off, when there are no planned activities or rides. So we had a very lazy start and then cycled the 5 miles to Lipno. Lipno has a marina and lots of touristy things including a tree top path. So we took the cable car to the mountain top and then walked to the top. It was a gentle gradient to the top, 40 metres high. The views were spectacular.

We had a lovely lunch on the merina front then cycled back to Frymburk. We pootled round all the shops - that didn't take long then after ice creams cycled home. The heat had built up during the day so Fu and I went for a swim. I tried to forget how green the inside of my swimming costume was after the last venture into the kake! Out to dinner, pizza by the lake then beer with friends. Ahhhhhh lovely day
