New Toy

My Samyang 7.5mm fisheye arrived on Tuesday but I haven't really had a chance to play with it until now. I have published a couple of extras that I shot with it today down at an abandoned retail precinct at Lithgow. So far very promising. 

I am currently doing research into "de-fishing" Photoshop plug-ins which will enable me to use this surprisingly well credentialed optic as a more conventional "ultra-wide" ... should I wish to do so. If all goes well, I shall have effectively acquired such a lens at a fraction of what I might otherwise have paid for an equivalent Panasonic or M.Zuiko. More to come. Watch this space.
