The fish have all gone

My pond is emptied and after 18 years my goldfish have gone to a better place. No they haven't died. I took them to a friend's pond where they can actually see through the water and are no longer terrorised by my cats sticking their paws in the pond. The new pond is much deeper and one of the goldfish did a sort of blue whale breach which looked to me like a leap of joy.
