Thriller

We were shown several Asian flicks today as part of an introduction to the IFFR. One of them was Shutter (the original, 2004 one), which I found exceptionally good and really scary.

This course has been a great departure from the academic drivel I'm usually fed. It's rare that I catch a course that delves into film good and proper, so this has been a welcome and educational change. So far we've seen 10-15 Dutch films from various periods, visited the NFF, this week is about the IFFR, and next week I hope to catch some cool animation at the HAFF. I'm stoked.
