The Hole in the Wall Gang

I found some intense wasp activity in a hole in our garden hole.

I tried to get close to get a meaningful shot but when I approached to remove distracting branches or use a namcro lens, I was buzzed with extreme menace.

So I had to stand about a metre away with a long telephoto lens.
This photo and the Extra show a returning soldier with a green worm which it then passed to others and they hauled it up into the abyss.

I am sorry it is not sharper but I was shaking with fear and did not dare go closer.
