Stansted Stains

When we got back to the camper van, parked at Stansted Airport car park, we had a lot of other things on our minds than the state of the vehicle (having left the lights on when we left, we came back to a dead battery, at one in the morning...).

And as you'll know life has continued apace, with weddings and mother-taxiing and visits and and... today has really been the first chance I've had to clean the old girl... but she refused to clean!

I wonder... it's all across the back of the van from bottom to pop-top... did someone dump fuel as they came in, and the prevailing wind coated the rear of our camper (and presumably everyone else cars)? It's a bit annoying, and that's the only possibility I can come up with; that it's penetrated the nearly twenty year old paint work.

Ah well, she's unique in one more aspect... I may try T-Cut on her, but to be honest I'll probably tell folk it's art. If you hadn't worked it out, she's a 1996 VW T4 Auto-Sleeper, now with a marbled backside.
