Peek-a-boo!
Minsmere today for the last of the summer family activity days. Went for a walk down to the pond to see how the eel nature trail is panning out. Got lucky and saw this little critter (may be the infamous Wesley or one of the youngsters) You can even see my reflection in his eye!
Today was bird ringing demo day run by the brilliant Waveney Bird Ringing Club. 95 birds, 16 species, including a beautiful Lesser Whitethroat (see additional images) It was released by a young lad in a wheelchair and stayed on his hand for a good few seconds before flying off. Love the look on the birds face in the photo but also the young hand in the larger adult one.
