Village landmarks

The 30 days of composition challenge asked us to consider the foreground. So often when I take a subject, like the village church, I tend to zoom in and focus on that alone. This challenge made me consider finding a viewpoint where  the foreground might add interest too. So, here is the result - two subjects I have previously only photographed separately, in one picture. Last summer the church tower was shrouded in plastic and scaffolding for several months while it was renovated - it looks lovely now. The motorcycle sculpture commemorates the fact that the founder of Harley Davidson was born in the village before emigrating to the USA as a very young child.
