Viking Pup

This pup was so naughty last night. I went to bed at the usual time. He kept us awake for 15 - 20 mins and then he got quiet. I thought he had fallen asleep. He hadn't! He had found a way out of the puppy pen and went to kiss Hero, who started growling. When I turned the light on, Gollum was pestering Hero and Biscuit outside the puppy pen and Beat was eating Gollum's bone inside the puppy pen.

I got Beat out and Gollum back into the puppy pen and went to bed again. Another 15 mins of noise from the puppy pen and then it got quiet.
Was he asleep? No!
He was on top of his travel crate, which he uses as a den to sleep and play in. He had managed to climb up on the top of it and from there, he could step over the puppy pen fencing and onto my bed. He landed in my face - in my nose actually, which resultet in a nosebleed (me - not Gollum, he was just fine).
Argh! I put Gollum out in the garden, stoped the nosebleed, removed the travel crate from puppy pen and finally we managed some sleep. Ahhhhh bliss!

Sooooo an early training session this morning with Gollum and Hero before a very busy day at work.

It got rather late before I left work, so I was less than motivated for any more activity today. I decided to go somewhere nice rather than just our usual dog walks, so we drove to the Viking Fortress Trelleborg and walked there. It was quiet and peaceful and I felt a lot less tired after an hour in these beautiful surroundings.

I talked to my friend Ingelise and arranged a play date for Gollum with her young Border Collie Happy. Happy is a distant cousin to Gollum. Her mum and Gollum's mum comes from the same breeder and from the same bloodlines. Happy's mum is a granddaughter to my old Robbie and Gollum's mum is a great granddaughter.

I'm home now and will soon be ready for bed.
I am hoping Gollum will be tired from playing with Happy and be more willing to go to sleep tonight - he does not look that tired though.
