Hawthorn Berries

The berries from the hawthorn overhanging the pond at work have ripened rapidly over the last few days (since I blipped Sammy Squirrel eating them green).    They shone so beautifully in the welcome sunshine we had this afternoon, and I cant believe how the nights are drawing in.
