Faithful companion

There it stands, neglected for months, gathering dust on top of the fridge. And yet, when I press it into service it jumps immediately to ecstatic life, waiting to do my bidding. Even in the photo it remains out of focus, shy and unassuming, leaving all that to the flashy eggs.

Oh, and the faithful companion? That's RTD--it's his birthday. Cake for all!
