Saloon
Today you can share in an afternoon trip along the Talyllyn Railway. Here we are approaching Six Bends - I'll leave you to work out why it's called that :-) The saloons are coaches adapted for wheelchair use which have windows across the east end giving the able bodied the chance to grab a view through the cabglass, over the driver's shoulder (see extra.) They are also great fun to ride in on the return journey, giving stunning views up the valley and a chance to watch the line unwind behind the train. Not all the trains are this empty! For a coach to yourself take the late afternoon option.
THIS WEEKEND - SATURDAY & SUNDAY 28/29th AUGUST
ALL NIGHT STEAM.
Between 550pm Saturday and 7am Sunday there will be trains hourly through the night. Refreshments available all night at Abergynolwyn where all trains will take a tea break.
Come and join us!
