The subsequent regret of gentrification
This is the striking 1920s Bootle Street police station. At the top end it has a lovely grand stone frontage. It will soon be demolished, along with the Sir Ralph Abercromby pub, which is over 200 years old. Because Manchester needs more big glass lumps and less unique old buildings.
It will all be replaced with big glass tower blocks.
I bought a new wheelbarrow.
