イチモンジセセリ (Parnara guttata) Common Straight Swift
My first 'Blip' in a hopefully year-long daily series of Japanese wildlife shots.
My reasons for doing this are three-fold
Firstly, I want a better awareness of the seasonal creatures around me, their habitats and life cycles. And their names too, if I can identify and remember some of them.
Secondly, I have a camera , and I need to use it more if I want to get better at taking pictures with it.
Lastly, I really have to get out of the house more, even if it is only as far as the garden. Summer is alright for bugs in the garden, but when they are all dead in a month or so I'm going to have to get a bit further afield to find something breathing.
