Hanging on in there!

The last surviving pumpkin is hanging on in there - mum has been banned from any further pruning! He is clearly not going to be a whopper but is supposed to turn a wonderfully appropriate Halloween shade of grey as he ripens!

Leo enjoyed a football party with his school friends today as one of his buddies turned 8. After not showing any interest in sports for years he now wants to sign up to Cullompton Rangers for footie lessons as well as going to his golf lessons. Will check into that tomorrow - with any luck we can squeeze that in. What with playing a basketball competition every day in the summer (Ian won today - pah!) and almost living at the swimming pool recently it has been a very active summer holiday! No wonder we are all so whacked!

We will have a lazier day in Sunday as we are Poole bound to visit Ian's family for his Mum's 70th Birthday Celebrations. So there will be lots of driving, chatting, eating etc. but not a lot of exercise going on :)
