Festival Time

One of the things I love about using a long lens is how it can compress perspective. In this shot, all stacked up together, we've got the roofs of the houses in the hill, the other terraces by Oxford Road, the mosque, light industrial units, (if you look very hard the new elevated section of the railway,) what I think is the main stage tent at Reading Festival, then the trees across on the other side of the Thames. 

Had hoped to catch up on comments tonight and at the weekend, but a trip that was meant to start on Monday night has been brought forward to tomorrow morning....so I'm busy packing! Sorry!
