Which used to be a form of shading in cartography to highlight the shape of the land.
Just before I took this photo, two hares broke cover and raced across the field. Tried to grab a shot of them but the camera rebelled and refused to focus.
Another day of sun and showers, sometimes consecutively, sometimes concurrently. MaggieD and I popped out this evening between showers and took a run round Stirling, up towards Doune then round across the Carse towards Fintry before heading for home. This was taken from the Carse looking south-east towards the Gargunnock hills.
Not only is it the weekend but it is the Bank Holiday Weekend. So if you work in a bank, please don't forget and turn up for work as usual on Monday morning!
