Love will tear us apart

Another backblip from Stockholm.

We always time our trip to Stockholm to coincide with the Stockholm Kulturfestival, a fantastic free cultural event (with a very diverse program) run by the city in the second week of August.

This year the theme (although quite loosely) was the UK and so I got to fulfil a teenage dream and see Peter Hook and his band, Peter Hook and the Light, perform the hits of Joy Division and New Order live. Open air. For Free! Thank you Stockholm.

To say I was excited would be an understatement. And, I was not disappointed :-) Okay, I'm sure it doesn't compare to having seen Joy Division or New Order live back in the day but the man can play the guitar!
