I went out for a cuppa with my sister this morning, and we shared a piece of carrot cake as we do ;0)
afterwards she took me to Vale Pond, it's just a toddle across the road. We counted 7 Herons and 1 Little Egret, several coots and  ducks, etc and a Kestrel. So here are some of the Herons and a Little Egret. Quite cropped and far away. Before she bought me home she took me up the road to see some of the Battle of Flower floats that are on display.
