Wrabness Walk

The nine mile walk from Wrabness Station to Manningtree Station kicks off with Grayson Perry's House For Essex.

As you stroll down the lane towards the river Stour this rises over the crest of a hill. To witness it is everything you imagined and more. Having watched the TV series it is a delight to see. The detail is astonishing.

After walking on from the house the hike takes you alongside the picturesque Stour occasionally dipping inland. The walk incorporated Wrabness Reserve, the historic towers at Mistley along with the Mistley Swans. It is a great walk.

The walk finishes in Manningtree with a train journey back to Wrabness
