Waldorf: What is that Statler?
Statler: It’s a thing called a kettle. They had them in the home when there were families. They put water into it and put it on the stove and it boiled up and they then poured it into the teapot and made tea.
Waldorf: And what did they do then Statler?
Statler: They then used to sit down together and talk to each other about what they did during the day and what was happening in the world.
Waldorf: Was that before communications came in and mobile phones and iPad and laptops.
Statler: It was Waldorf, when people talked to each other.
