The wings have it

Another lovely day ....... plenty of sunshine & blue sky ....... shame the rest of the weekend doesn't look so promising!

The Buddleia was covered in butterflies again today ....... I counted at least a dozen ....... good thing this Ivory one still has lots of flowers! As well as the Whites, lots of Small Tortoiseshell & 2 Red Admirals ....... this Peacock came to visit ..... first one I've seen for a while ....... so of course it had to have pride of place!! :-))

The Extra is of a Silver Y Moth ....... it visited very briefly but unfortunately hid itself away near the middle of the bush ..... this is the only shot I managed to get of it ...... not the best by any means ...... but a record of the fact I saw one!
