Promenading on the pier

The Ards Man and I did totally retired person activities today, with lunch out at the Salty Dog in Bangor (burger for his nibs, risotto for me) and then a little constitutional along Eisenhower Pier.

There was a massive fishing boat tied up alongside the pier and I was almost going to blip it, when I spotted a couple of fishermen up at the end. As I sauntered that way, a rowboat came swiftly into the bay propelled by some enthusiastic Sea Cadets. I'm afraid I put them all off their stroke, as I spotted they were erstwhile pupils, so waved madly! Being polite gels, they waved back :) They also shrieked a bit in recognition, as gels are wont to do, so it was definitely them......
