Guess what's next...!

It's Colton Carnival next week, so once again my living room is buried under its annual thick layer of lace and net and flowers and feathers and ribbon, but for a change this year no glitter. Won't feel like real carnival if the carpet and I are not covered in glitter., might have to scatter some about just to get in the mood. This year our WI group is celebrating the centenary of the British WI and are dressing up as Edwardians for our walking entry in the procession. What a great excuse to make everyone huge, overdressed hats. One of my ancestors was a milliner in Edwardian times and another a bonnet trimmer, so what's a girl to do?.
