Whitby nightfall

Off to the Spa with June this morning for a dance workshop by Rivington Morris. We were both a little concerned at our lack of fitness and stamina as neither of us have danced Northwest Morris in the last 5 years or so! We needn't have worried though - as 'newbies' (most others had learned the dance yesterday) we learned the first dance in 20 minutes flat and went on to do another. A thoroughly enjoyable morning!

MrM and I indulged in a fish & chip meal in Whitby this evening with Tom and Dorothy and Janet - at least the others had fish & chips. I opted for scampi, salad and, er, mushy peas - a surprisingly good combination - as chips cooked in lard don't fit in to a low-cholesterol diet!

Music session at the Golden Lion where we were treated to a performance by the Tower Ravens, a ladies Rapper side - brilliant! See Extra
