Ferns

We were walking today up near Comrie, and we were going down this path through the ferns to try to cross the river at the bottom.   We knew that there was a rope 'bridge' down there from years ago, but had not been down for a long time.  However, when we got to it it was useless as it had fallen into disrepair, so we had to come back up through the ferns and go back the way we came, the river was running too fast for us to attempt to cross.

However, we enjoyed our day and we retired to the 'Grouse Experience' Whisky Distillery for some after walk drinks...... and sat for quite a long time as the craic was good.

We had sunshine and showers, sometimes we got soaked and then dried in the sun only to get soaked again.  However, we finished dry!
