Hardy souls

Carnival day in Weymouth - unfortunately it was also the wettest day of our stay. We had a walk in the morning and looked at the stalls, and the forecast was for it to dry up. But it didn't! There was supposed to be a Battle of Britain flypast, and an appearance by the Red Arrows but neither was able to fly due to the low cloud. Felt so sorry for the organisers!

We stuck it out for a while but it was so wet we gave up and went back to the house. Didn't venture out for the parade as it was still bouncing down but did see the fireworks later on.

There were some hardy souls braving the beach though!
