Steam to Canterbury.
Hampshire. Early morning. The Mayflower thunders through Grateley Station enroute for the day to Canterbury. Over 300 on board.
The train was built in 1948 at Glasgow. The engine, tender and coal come in at 123 tons, my goodness the little station wobbled all the way up from the tracks as mayflower charged through.
