Bedford County Fair

This evening we went over to the Bedford County fair.  It was the First Bedford County Fair in 40 years.  They had originally been held every year since the early 1900s, but in the 1970s they were filled with "Gorilla Fights and Girly Shows."  The county decided it wasn't the sort of entertainment they wanted to sponsor and they stopped holding the fair.

These are some lovely canned vegetables. I enjoyed the exhibit tent.  My husband kept looking for the Gorillas and the Girls.
