The ultimate selfie

Here we have the Raspberry Pi model B photographed by itself.  The camera is on a long ribbon cable and is triggered by a movement sensor (out of shot) that was triggered by the activity light on the Raspberry Pi board. So it took a selfie and then automatically emailed it to me.

I just have to build a box and camera mount for it now and put it in the window by the front door, then I will be able to see anyone who comes to the door before they even press the doorbell ... Brilliant.

P.s. Apologies for the blip quality. The camera is pretty basic and the focus doesn't work too well up close.
