I've got to be honest with you & myself. My holiday is sadly drawing to a close and I find myself asking the inevitable questions around purpose / choice / future / where did I put the car keys and so on.

Staithes is lovely. It is itself. It stands on its own two feet and in that regard there is no wonder the Staithes Art movement happened and that artists continue to flock here. In two weekends time the fourth Staithes annual arts festival is here. If you can get, do! I'm afraid it is rammed, but you will get a real taster of the best of seaside villages. One of the UK's best kept secrets.
