Petit Lanaye

Bert wanted to try his new electric bicycle, that's why we left the house at the crack of dawn to be back before the tropical temperature would be at its heights. We cycled to Eijsden, crossed the river Meuse by ferry, went across the locks at Petit Lanaye, then along the Albert canal to Kanne and via the Jeker valley to Maastricht. I think this summes up the best stretch of the route. We went a bit further north before we cycled home.

Bert is happy with the electric support. We noticed him being tired earlier this summer's trip.
