Pride

It was Kent Pride in Margate today, although by the time I got there the main event had finished (the Parade) - I decided to go a different way and ended up in Yorkshire, or somewhere like it.  A few of the shops in the Old Town had some bunting up and around.  I wanted to go along and support them as there has been some nasty comments about the event, but it was not to be, sadly.

Went to a friend's party this evening, which was lovely.  Met some new people, and ate American food (the theme was the US as Kathryn's best friend is over from New York, so the party was in her honour).  We watched the lightning dance around the sky from the garden, but then the rain came down in a torrent so we all fled inside!
