Guardian of the Tonn Vane

This afternoon we dived on the wreck of the Tonn Vane, a trawler that ran aground in 2003 and sunk.  Attempts were made to raise her, and the remains of the giant lift bags lie on the deck - looking confusingly like sails!  This conger eel living in a pipe seemed to be guarding the wreck.

This morning we had a beautiful dive on Auliston Point - brilliant wall with a gentle drift and lots of life.
