bedraggled, still beautiful

Raining quite a bit today. I've been cooking fruit to save in the freezer and making apple and blackberry pies. Nearly tomato soup making time too.
The flowers in the garden all look bedraggled. These lovely roses were heavy with rain - in fact most of their beautiful colour had been washed away. But still beautiful.
Thank you to everyone who left congratulations yesterday on my blip birthday - it's much appreciated.
