Pain or pleasure?

Did the farm walk today minus the coffee and cake - absolutely crowded out today for Bank Holiday!
The walk was more interesting than usual - the young cows in the field were skittery, and we were prepared to make a run for it! We shooed them off, but whenever we turned back to check, they were following again, like the childhood game "What time is it Mr Wolf?".
The two huge sows are back in their pen, and one trotted across to say hello - the other one couldn't be bothered and just lay and grunted at us.
Then the bull came across for a scratch as we passed his field - he seems very contented in his domain with five cows and their calves. He deliberately sought out this loose bit of barbed wire, wrapped it round his head, and had a wonderful scratch. Then he nimbly detached himself, and strolled up to the water trough for a drink - it's a bull's life, obviously...
