Sunday morning
Coustellet is an ordinary kind of a village, one that has not a lot to offer the tourist and most pass by, on their way to Cavaillon and elsewhere. It’s very close to us and we go there for the most wonderful Boulangerie, to buy wine at the Cave and to shop at the new and very nice supermarket, maybe we have coffee at the old station café. Other than that – it is just a place.
But on Sunday mornings it comes alive, with a fine, and amazingly big, market. And this is a genuine local market, where the French shop, talk about what they are buying, meet up with friends and family, and then escape from the sun into the cafés for an aperitif.
By noon the place is empty. All home for lunch.
I like the French way of life!!
